The Wiki's looks

Hello everyone!

I'd like to start a conversation about the wiki's looks and design - so we can make it more appealing, professional-looking and give it the First Law feel.

I've just changed the wiki's theme from bright orange to a more palatable brown and added a watermark with the name of the wiki in the upper left corner.

These changes aren't set in stone by any means, and I'd be delighted to hear your ideas about how the wiki should look and feel, any suggestions for better watermarks, color choices and background images.

Please don't hesitate to post your ideas here!

Hi Sithwist, excellent initial changes. Both the colour and the watermark is nice. The colour matches illustrated covers of the book.

Maybe it's a bit too much work, but you could make the brown sides of the page into the map-like cover of some of the books' editions.

I like the idea. My favourite looking Wikia is Kingkiller, maybe we could get some inspiration from that: http://kingkiller.wikia.com

I've done a bit of playing with look-and-feel before with this Wikia: http://traitor-son-cycle.wikia.com

My theory is to start with a background graphic, and then build the rest of the colour scheme around that. I've only had a quick look, but here's some ideas.

Obviously, I've been playing with the look-n-feel of the wiki lately. If you have any suggestions or criticism, don't hesitate to post your ideas here!
