Anselmi was one of Juvens' twelve apprentices, and a member of the Order of the Magi. Given the Italian name, we can speculate that he was perhaps originally from Styria.

Juvens took Anselmi as one of his apprentices and trained him in the principles of the High Art. After the death of their master, he was among the eleven Magi who made war on Kanedias. During the siege of the House of the Maker, he and Brokentooth were both killed by Kanedias.
