Nicante is an independent city-state in Styria ruled most recently by First Citizen Patine. Its emblem is the six rings banner.
Government[]
Nicante is ruled by a First Citizen, the most recent being Patine. Patine wears his hair wild, and dresses in peasant clothes, to show he is no better than the people in his care. The rumour was he wore silken undergarments and slept on a golden bed; so much for the humility of the powerful.
Geography and Culture[]
Nicante is located in the centre of Styria, to the south-west of Ospria, on the coast of the Azure Sea.
History[]
Nicante is a junior partner in the League of Eight, opposed to the ruthlessly ambitious Grand Duke Orso of Talins.
Best Served Cold[]
After the fall of Visserine, Nicante don’t participate in the deciive battle with Duke Orso near Ospria by Duke Rogont. After Orso is defeated, First Citizen Patine is one of the city-state rulers who crown Rogont the King of Styria; they are all poisoned with the crown by Morveer. After the death of First Citizen Patine, suffers a great fire.
