Chapter Summary Edit
Jezal is miserable. Caught in a terrible rainstorm, his swanky coat proves less than waterproof, and his brave companions less than sympathetic. Bayaz lectures him that great leaders don’t whinge. Logen just laughs at the rain, stripped to the waist enjoying the cleansing downpour. Quai tells him off for mocking the famous Northman. And Ferro is … well Ferro.
When the rain finally stops, the group comes across a merchant caravan that’s been attacked by bandits. Ferro’s intimate examination of the corpses proves too much for Jezal, who spews his breakfast on the ground. However, Logen at least shows the young man some kindness.

Locations and Terms Edit
|The Old Empire||Northmen||Darmium||Aulcus|
- Auclus you may recall was mentioned in Quai's story of the war between Juvens and Glustrod. It’s a wasteland, a poisoned landscape that has been shunned and left untouched for over a thousand years ago.
