Chapter Summary Edit
Colonel West and Lieutenant Jalenhorm enter Dunbrec which has finally been recaptured after weeks of bloody siege. Amid the dead bodies of Northmen, are remnants of a ritual of some kind uing the corpses of the original Union garrison strung up to rot. Sickened, West offers ten-mark to a soldier to make sure all the Union dead have the proper funeral rites.
Back at the command tent, the much diminished Lord Marshal Burr holds council with his generals. Kroy and Poulder slap their own backs for Dunbrec and Uffrith now being under their control. Now, the Closed Council is eager to take the fight into The North. It is time to put Bethod on his knees.
